Ireland’s Presidency will continue the EU’s aim in ensuring that national parliaments are proactively involved in the EU legislative process and Ireland, as host, will actively strive to ensure that all voices are heard and that democracy is paramount.

This is an inter-parliamentary conference bringing together members of EU national parliaments and Members of the European Parliament to discuss generational renewal, women in agriculture, and food security.
The Oireachtas Joint Committee on Agriculture and Food will chair this inter-parliamentary conference to facilitate debate among experts and politicians from Ireland and across Europe, enabling the exchange of views and the discussion of best practices regarding agricultural development.
